If you've ever tried holding up a lighter during a slow song at an Elton John gig you'll know how painful it can be (the holding up, not the music). Keeping a flame going for more than a few seconds can lead to very hot fingers. Smartphone Lighter offers a pain-free solution to the problem.
Smartphone Lighter produces a flame effect on your Windows Mobile phone in the form of an animated screensaver. From a distance the effect is quite realistic and it gives out quite a bit of light. However, on closer inspection, some of the frames in the animation are a little jerky.
There are no options or settings to speak of in Smartphone Lighter. It would've been nice to have a choice of lighters or even the ability to adjust the height of the flame like you can do on a real lighter.
It might stop you getting your fingers burnt at a rock concert, but aside from this, Smartphone Lighter is pretty pointless.
